Susan Houlihan is a Berlin School faculty member coaching our participants in the special workshop “Leaders on Stage”.
Susan believes that everyone has undiscovered potential to be an authentic leader. She thrives in working with individuals and organizations, to enable people to realize their passion and create professional/personal situations where they are excited, happy and productive.
Susan Houlihan is a leadership and communications coach with 15+ years of engineering/business experience in Silicon Valley, CA. She holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from University College of Cork in Ireland, an MBA from Haas Business School at UC Berkeley, and is a certified coach from the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute. She leverages her 15+ years working in engineering and operations in the high-tech sector to bring a perspective that is firmly rooted in business applications.
Susan’s coaching and facilitation experience includes: Assistant Lecturer for leadership and coaching programs in the Haas MBA program at UC Berkeley; Guest faculty at Anderson Business School UC Los Angeles; workshops in a variety of Fortune 500 Companies, and Instructor in UC Berkeley Center for Executive Education for programs such as ‘High Impact Leadership’, ‘Engineer as Leader’, and ‘Leadership for Scientists’. These programs utilize techniques from the theater and performance arts to develop heightened communication and inspirational leadership skills.
She has worked with organizational levels from students to corporate executives across a variety of diverse cultures in Europe, Asia, North America and the Middle East.
