Liz Nelson works to bring bigger, younger, audiences to the USA TODAY NETWORK across platforms – from social and mobile engagement to in-real-life events, including developing strategic plans for emerging content platforms like newsletters and podcasts that both deliver unique, desirable content and monetization.
A long-time journalist, Liz previously built audience engagement at The Washington Post and America Online.
Liz is a graduate of Virginia Tech, where she majored in English and minored in medieval studies. She loves 60s-era ska and garage music, mid-century design and her elementary school-aged son, Desmond.
