Amy is a Berlin School visiting Professor teaching creative leadership with a focus on the craft of making and sharing strategies that connect to and move communities to take action.
She is the co-founder and managing director of Razem Leadership Studios, a leadership development consultancy that helps teams and leaders build the capacity to transform themselves and their organizations.
Amy started her professional life as an elite athlete and coach in the sport of netball playing in nationally broadcast games, training at the Australian Institute of Sport and coaching young players. From this experience, she took two core premises for her work – that we have more potential and are more interconnected than we realise.
She put these ideologies to work as a strategy and transformation consultant and senior leader for organisations across diverse industries, including media, airlines, FMCG, industrial goods and education in Australia, the US, and Europe. Her approach is to combine the rigour of analytical thinking with the context of how strategy is enacted – by people, designing and authoring their own stories that are meaningful to them.
Her academic research has focused on how the history of thought manifests in contemporary narratives. With a belief that “how we frame is how we see the world”, she is currently focused on understanding “how re-frames happen” in the history of thought and in contemporary organizations to help organisations re-frame their present and design their futures.
Amy serves as a coach on INSEAD’s “Transforming your Business with Artificial Intelligence”, “Building Digital Partnerships & Ecosystems” and “Design Thinking & Creativity for Business” Executive Education programs.
She received an MBA from INSEAD with Distinction and a First Class Honours in Arts and Economics with a University Blue from the University of Sydney.
